The Loan Capital Markets division is responsible for structuring, pricing, negotiating, underwriting and distributing syndicated loans. You become part of a dynamic division that helps clients access various sources of public and private capital through syndicated loans, bonds, private placements or other capital market products.

As an analyst, a self-starting and entrepreneurial attitude is essential and will be an asset to our team. You are genuinely interested in banking and financial products and enjoy working on many projects simultaneously in close collaboration with others. You will need to build contacts in the loan capital market, liaise with customers and prospects of the bank and closely monitor developments, pricing and trends in the international loan markets. In addition, you maintain a good internal network, you take the lead in the preparation and execution of pitches and you work together with other product groups.

The start date for this junior position is October 1, 2022. Start date may also be earlier in consultation.

Young Professional Program – Corporate Banking

The role as an Analyst within Loan Capital Markets is part of the Young Professional Corporate Banking Program. This means that in addition to your regular work, you also follow a personal development program for 1.5 years. In this program you will receive job-related training, personal development training, coaching sessions and networking opportunities. You will not do all of this developing on your own, but together with your fellow Young Professionals.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to spend 3-4 months at another department within Rabobank for. This experience offers you the opportunity to develop new skills, accelerating you as a Young Professional within Loan Capital Markets. Making a difference

You can actively contribute to the team by:

• Preparing clients visits and the associated pitches or presentations.
• Collecting data about customers and about the credit markets.
• Generating ideas for transaction opportunities.
• Actively contributing to the process of legal documentation, structuring and the execution of transactions.
• Maintaining contacts with various external parties, such as other banks, lawyers and other business units within Rabobank.
• Preparing and managing all aspects of syndication, including teaser, term sheet, information memorandum and lender presentation.
• Representing Rabobank at client meetings and professional events.

Customer focus, team player, result orientation and having the right proactive attitude are essential for the role of Analyst Capital Markets. In addition, it is important that you recognize everything in the checklist below:

• A university master's degree, preferable in Finance, Business, Economics, Econometrics or Law.
• Fluency in written and spoken English, Dutch or any additional language is a plus.
• Up to 2 years of work experience.
• Passionate and interested in wholesale banking and broader capital market products.
• Excellent analytical and commercial skills.
• Ability to deliver results within project timelines.
• Ambitious and result-oriented.
