Young Professional Program – Corporate Banking
The role as an Associate within Food & Agri Client Coverage is part of the Young Professional Corporate Banking Program. This means that in addition to your regular work, you also follow a personal development program for 1.5 years. In this program you will receive job-related training, personal development training, coaching sessions and networking opportunities. You will not do all of this developing on your own, but together with your fellow Young Professionals.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to spend 3-4 months at another department within Rabobank. This experience offers you the opportunity to develop new skills, accelerating you as a Young Professional within Food & Agri Client Coverage. Making a difference
Your daily work will be to support the team in all kinds of strategic and commercial projects. This includes facilitating client service team meetings in order to position the bank for new (strategic) venture, providing insights into sectors and client needs, coordinating multi-product pitches (Core Lending, ECM, DCM, M&A, Structured Capital) and to be in touch with clients to answer their questions and organizing special projects and events. There is one Associate in all four sector teams, always creating a group of four enthusiastic and ambitious young people who are also great peers to learn from each other.

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. As the Client Coverage Large Corporates team, we are the client owner and the first point of contact. We bring together the most talented people in the Rabobank from many different product departments (e.g. Lending, Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions) to ensure strong relationship management with our clients. In the department, a total of four Client Coverage Large Corporates teams are responsible for different sectors and focused on a different themes: Energy Transition, Digital Transition, F&A Transition and Sustainable Building and Real Estate.
With you as an Associate, the team will consist of multiple colleagues in various of roles including Team Manager, Senior Relationship Bankers and Business Development.
