WHAT DO WE OFFER?
Traineeship opportunities are published on our vacancies page in a corresponding Vacancy Notice.
Traineeships are offered for an initial period of 6 months, with the possibility of extension for a maximum further 6 months.
Traineeships encompass full-time work at SatCen, (40 hours a week) and trainees receive a monthly stipend of €1,000 plus travel contribution upon joining and leaving the SatCen (when applicable).
Trainees are assigned a mentor who is responsible for establishing their individual learning goals, supervising their work and monitoring their progress on a regular basis, as well as providing them guidance on career and development. Trainees have the opportunities to learn about SatCen’s mission and activities, attend workshops, participate in meetings and access to other competency development opportunities.

Candidates must be nationals of the Member States of the European Union.

Candidates must have a very good knowledge of at least two EU languages, of which one should be English, the working language of the SatCen.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER?
We will assess all applications to see how well the candidates meet the listed requirements. Candidates that best match the profile will be invited for a short remote interview with a hiring manager. They may also be asked to complete a written test. Successful candidates will be informed and they will receive a traineeship agreement to sign.
